Classic Contax N mount Carl Zeiss lenses, resurrected!

The Contax N system is an AF film and digital SLR camera system jointly developed by Kyocera and Zeiss. It was released in 2000 and discontinued in 2005. All 9 classic Zeiss lenses of Contax N mount system can be adapted to Sony E mount cameras with LA-NE1.

• Carl Zeiss N Vario-Sonnar T* 28-80mm F/3.5-5.6 (released in 2002)
• Carl Zeiss N Vario-Sonnar T* 70-200mm F/3.5-4.5 (released in 2002)

*Note: Some Contax 645 lenses can also be used with LA-NE1 after being adapted by NAM-1, but LA-NE1 does not guarantee that all Contax 645 lenses are in optimal condition. Contax 645 lens support will be improved with subsequent firmware updates.

Extended Focus Point Coverage

The coverage of the focus point has been extended to almost full screen, allowing you to create more with freedom.

Human/pet's eye tracking

Now N-mount lenses can also achieve tracking on the eyes of people and pets, allowing the subject to look more brilliant in your photos.

Continuous AF and AE

LA-NE1 can make N-mount lenses achieve AF and AE continuously shooting at a maximum of about 10 frames per second (camera support required) and the focusing accuracy will be highly improved at high-speed AFC mode

Classical Look and Feel

LA-NE1 continues the classic design of N mount Carl Zeiss lenses, allowing lenses to maintain the original beauty when adapted.

Dust-proof Rubber Ring

LA-NE1 adds a dust-proof rubber ring on the E mount bayonet, which can effectively reduce the possibility of water and dust, protect your equipment.

*Note: Not designed to be 100% waterproof and dust-proof.

Detachable tripod mount

Like LA-FE1, we have included a detachable tripod base for you. After the base is dismantled, the tripod hole is still reserved for emergency needs. 

Upgrade firmware via camera

The adapter firmware will be upgraded through camera body like the same you do with native lenses so there is no USB port on the adapter through which the water and dust may get in.
